Sometimes spontaneous shoots are the best. We got to know these two lovebirds a couple of years ago through mutual friends and were more than excited when they asked us to photograph their wedding this year. And it was so great that we were able to meet last weekend and even had time for a little shoot.
After a long wedding season we decided to take a short time-out in Bali. As we were longing for a relaxed and quiet time we chose to stay in Lovina (in the north of Bali) and only spent the last two days in Canggu, which is well-known to all the surfers. Though it took us quite some time to reach the various places we had in mind from Lovina (due to the bad roads and traffic), we had some really awesome drivers who took really good care of us and we had some really fun day trips. Raining season was slowly starting, so we had some rain throughout our whole stay but that didn’t matter at all, because it was so hot and the rain actually was really refreshing :D
Bali really impressed us – not only with its beautiful sights such as the rice terraces but also with the nicest people.
So here are some of our snaps from our trip (some are even taken with the iPhone ;))
As most of you might already know I (Jae-In) am from Bochum, which is in the so called Ruhrgebiet. And for a while now I had the urge to shoot a couple in this industrial area. So of course I was pretty excited that Corinna and Marvin were home for christmas and also wanted to spend some time with me. So here are the pics of a fun afternoon with this amazing couple. Just loooove her smile <3
Another highlight of this year’s season was this wedding. Vera & Stefan are such warm-hearted people and once you spend some time with them you can instantly feel the passion and love they share with each other.
Both of them also put all their love into planning this wedding and almost all of the decoration was DIY, even the invitations.
